Shun Wakabayashi, our VP of Business, presented at the JAPAN GREEN INNOVATION CONFERENCE hosted by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) at COP28 (28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
At the presentation, Shun has introduced the Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) project that Recursive is working on with Sumitomo Forestry and IHI to realize a decarbonized society. The presentation asked how this initiative can improve the management of peatlands around the world and promote forest conservation, which is the most important aspect of a decarbonized society.
