【Event】 COO Yamada speaks at the First Member Companies Summit hosted by Generative AI

Recursive's Co-founder and COO, Katsutoshi Yamada, who is also a board member of the AI industry association Generative AI Japan (hereafter referred to as “GenAI”), spoke at the first Member Companies Summit hosted by GenAI on July 16, 2024. Yamada participated as a panelist in a panel discussion on social changes through generative AI. Six experts engaged in a lively discussion about future business opportunities for Japanese companies and the country's direction. The memorable first Members Summit attracted over 120 members, making it a very exciting event.

Recursive is participating as a corporate member of Generative AI Japan (commonly known as GenAI), a general incorporated association launched in January 2024. Yamada was appointed as a board member of GenAI, which aims to enhance the industrial competitiveness of Japan as a whole by providing education, career opportunities, collaboration, co-creation, rule making, and proposals in the use of generative AI under the cooperation of industry and academia.

As a corporate board member, we aim to continue discussions on utilizing generative AI, establish industry standards based on user-aligned use cases, and work towards the dissemination of best practices moving forward.
