Recursive Inc. Previously overseeing strategic partnerships and sustainability initiatives at Google Japan, Mikiko brings a unique wealth of expertise and understanding in not only technical aspects but also sales and consulting. As she has insights and the necessary know-hows to facilitate complex, multifaceted projects, Mikiko will further accelerate Recursive’s business as a project management leader. With Mikiko’s appointment, Recursive aims to further strengthen not only its management structure but also enhance its project management structure to better meet the increasingly diverse, complex needs of its clients.

Recursive provides technical development, customization, and consulting of cutting-edge AI technologies for both Japanese and international companies. While the importance and potential of AI as a solution for sustainable business transformation has been attracting attention in recent years, the needs of society and companies are becoming increasingly diverse and complex. As an Executive Officer, Mikiko joins Recursive’s management team consisting of Tiago Ramalho, Co-Founder and CEO; Katsutoshi Yamada, Co-Founder and COO; and Shun Wakabayashi, Executive Officer. With Mikiko’s extensive management experience across various industries, Recursive aims to strengthen its management structure and its project management setup to enhance its capabilities to better achieve clients’ needs.

Before joining Recursive, Mikiko spent nearly a decade at The Boeing Company's U.S. headquarters. There, she served as an Engineer on the International Space Station and the Research & Technology divisions, and later as a Regional Director for Airline Economics in the Commercial Airplanes Sales & Marketing division. Following this role, she worked for over four years as a Management Consulting Manager at Accenture K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of Accenture. During her time there, she provided consulting services across various domains, including digital transformation. Most recently, Mikiko spent over five years at Google Japan G.K. In addition to her role as a Strategic Partnership Manager in the Global Partnerships organization, , she has served as a Project Manager at Google's moonshot factory "X" (formerly known as Google X), and Lead for Google Japan’s Sustainability Team.
