Tokyo, Japan - September 25, 2024 - Recursive Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tiago Ramalho; hereinafter, "Recursive"), a developer of AI solutions that facilitate sustainable business transformation, is thrilled to announce that it won the Innovation Award at the Meta Llama Ideathon in Japan, hosted by Meta’s Japanese subsidiary, Facebook Japan, on September 6, 2024. The Meta Llama Ideathon is a competition in which participants pitch projects that will bring economic and social impact by utilizing Llama, a next-generation, open-source large-scale language model developed by Meta. Recursive was one of the six teams that passed a rigorous selection process and made it to the finals of the Japan competition, where they took the stage to pitch a solution to help workers reskill using FindFlow Education, a comprehensive education platform implemented on Llama and developed in-house. Recursive pitched a solution to support reskilling and was highly acclaimed.

In today's rapidly evolving world of technological innovation, many workers are under increasing pressure to acquire new skills. The shortage of teachers and trainers, along with the significant labor involved in creating educational content, is becoming an escalating challenge. Additionally, much of the available educational material is predominantly in English, which underscores the urgent need to make content available in multiple languages.

To address these bottlenecks, Recursive proposed a solution that contributes to the efficient reskilling of workers by utilizing FindFlow Education, an efficient and comprehensive education platform that leverages AI to automatically generate course materials and exams from any document in multiple languages and automatically grades them. FindFlow Education utilizes Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to automatically generate systematic course materials based on existing databases, enabling learners to efficiently and effectively reskill themselves in a self-guided learning environment rather than answering individual questions as they come. By doing so, learners can reskill in a way that guides their own learning. In addition, companies across various industries can reduce the labor cost and time required to create course materials, allowing employees to learn more proactively, efficiently, and effectively.
