【Event】CEO Tiago Speaks at SusHi Tech Tokyo, an Event to Promote High Tech to Achieve Sustainable Cities

On May 16, 2024, Recursive’s Co-Founder and CEO, Tiago Ramalho, spoke at a panel discussion of SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024, an event held in Tokyo aiming to achieve sustainable cities through advanced technology. Also joining the panel were Ms. Shiho Watabe, CEO of Shibuya Startups, and Ms. Jen Carter, Global Head of Technology of Google.org. The topic of the panel discussion was "Discussing Future of Technology: How AI changes human lifestyles,” which led to a lively, insightful discussion.
During the panel discussion, Tiago talked about how AI can bring and improve sustainable change, especially from the the four pillars of Recursive's business: accelerating innovation, increasing productivity, preparing for future risks, and deliver better work/education. He also touched upon future challenges and outlook that is being faced when further utilizing AI to advance sustainability, to which he emphasized Recursive's direction and vision of using AI as a tool to empower humans rather than replacing them.
By speaking at this event, Recursive was able to provide insight into how much potential utilizing cutting-edge technology like AI has in order to achieve a sustainable society.
